This is a really really neat idea. Anyone want to do this with me on the 12th?

My mom and I went on a movie marathon yesterday. We saw The Road and Fantastic Mr. Fox. The Road was good, it met my expectations. It didn’t ruin the book, but it wasn’t mind blowing either. It’s a nice visual suppliment to a fantastic book. I wouldn’t recommend the movie unless you’ve read the book first.

Fantastic Mr. Fox, on the other hand, exceeded my expectations. Wes Anderson is a genius. Go see it. And if you have kids please skip the crap out there like Old Dogs and Planet 51 and take them to a movie that doesn’t patronize them.
